The Kentucky Oral History Commission provided two Project Grants to the "Exploring the Legacies of Appalshop Oral History Project."  Part of the Kentucky Historical Society, the KOHC funds projects about or pertaining to the Bluegrass State.

The Appalachian College Association provided a generous Wilma Dykeman Stokely and Jean Ritchie Research Fellowship in support of the "Exploring the Legacies of Appalshop Oral History Project."

The Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the University of Kentucky provided an array of critical resources and support for the "Exploring the Legacies of Appalshop Oral History Project."  Much but by no means all of these resources pertained to their open source Oral History Metadata Synchronizer (OHMS) platform.
