Nick Slie, the owner of the multi-disciplinary company Mondo Bizarro, discusses the founding of his company as well as the relationship with several other multi-disciplinary companies (Alternate ROOTS, M.U.G.A.B.E.E., Appalshop, Inc.) that were formed through the love for art and theater. He talks about Appalshop, Inc. in particular and the collaborative projects he got to be involved in because of his association with the organization. He also discusses the social justice work he did during Hurricane Katrina with Alternate ROOTS in an attempt to shine a light in the darkness for many people in New Orleans, Louisiana.
