Description

Andrew Garrison, a former employee of Appalshop, Inc, discusses his time spent as a cameraman and filmmaker for the organization. He talks about the films he worked on while he was there, the effect they had on Appalachia, and how his time at Appalshop, Inc. affected him as a filmmaker. He also discusses his childhood, college, and how he found Appalshop, Inc. He tells stories about making films and how the "Fat Monroe" movie marked the beginning of his downfall at Appalshop, Inc.
