Arlene Goldbard, a consultant for community cultural development as well as a former leader for Neighborhood Arts Programs National Organizing Committee (NAPNOC), discusses her time spent working with Appalshop, Inc. to improve their organization as a whole. She talks about her family history and her own background in art and politics as well as how her interest in those things led to her relationship with Appalshop, Inc. She also discusses how Appalshop, Inc. changed throughout her years working with them, as well as her interest in the Thousand Kites Project.
