Segment Synopsis: After completing her master's degree, Cetrulo decided not to pursue a PhD, but to teach. She did so for nine years before taking a new position, Assistant Director of the Writing Program. In college, she was in an academic organization and an editor for a magazine, which helped shape her career path.

Partial Transcript: Um, um, the way we teach writing now is so different then the way I was taught when I was in elementary school, or secondary school, or even undergraduate school.

Segment Synopsis: The part of her work Cetrulo likes the best is when she creates a new project. The part of her work she dislikes the most is having to send out memos. She is usually always working in her office all day; her door is always open. If she is in a time crunch, she will work at home on her floor. She does a lot of writing and secondary research at home. When she works on different workshops, she works at home too for a lot of space.
