Segment Synopsis: Wood discusses the Hawaiian quilt that she made using the various tools that she has invented over the years, such as the Hexacut and the Starmaker 6. She also talks about being a certified Bishop sewing teacher and how she began teaching quiltmaking upon the suggestion of one of her sewing students despite never having made a quilt before. She knew how to sew strips together, but anything past that reverted her back to being a student herself.

Segment Synopsis: Wood talks about the books that she has published and how those books are meant to break complex quilt designs down enough so that even beginning quiltmakers can use the book to make a complex quilt. She discusses the pride she feels when a quilt made by one of her students wins an award, despite her lack of desire to enter one of her own into a competition.
