Description
In this interview Donald Slover discusses his childhood and his experiences serving in the military during the Vietnam War. Slover was born in Berlin in 1948. He moved to America as an infant and was raised in a small town in New York. He was drafted in 1970 and accepted an offer to become a member of the special forces as a medic. He passed all of the training necessary except for advanced medic training. After failing out, he joined the 4th Psychological warfare school at Fort Bragg as an illustrator. He served in this role until 1976.
