Description

In this interview Charles Hardy discusses his upbringing and his time during the Vietnam War as an anti-war activist. He grew up around New York City. He was active from 1968-1972. He went to high school at a private boys academy, The Browning School. There he became immersed in the counterculture movement of NYC. He participated in the Moratorium on the Vietnam war in Washington D.C., in 1969. While attending Northwestern University, he fasted to go underweight to avoid the draft.
