Description

In this interview Jim Talone talks about his experiences in the Vietnam War. Talone served in the Marines. He was in the 3rd Marine division, 1st battalion, 9th marines in Bravo company. He served in Vietnam in 1968. He started as a 2nd Lieutenant. He fought in the battle of Khe Sanh. He later earned a Silver Star for his actions during a firefight. He requested a position in the rear. He became a general's aide to General Raymond Davis for the remainder of his tour in Vietnam.
